Points Purchase - Banked Points??

I am talking about purchase.
I notice on some ads they list the points as banked.
If you purchase resale points and this years points are already banked what happens?
Do they transfer to you as banked or stay with the seller?

Since you haven’t had a reply yet I’ll give you a partial answer.
I have been told that once points are banked they can not be transferred to another account- period.
So the seller could perhaps book something on your behalf with the banked points but not transfer the points themselves to your account.
