I have some AA points that will expire soon due to lack of activity... It's not much (15K miles)...

Anybody use points.com to transfer points to another program?

Any suggestions on what to do with 15K miles?

Go to opinionplace.com and try to qualify for one of their surveys. That will earn you a few miles and extend the expiration on your 15K miles.

You can make a small donation to one of the charities listed at the AA website (e.g. Unicef, National Parks, etc...) and that will extend the expiration date of your points.

Whatever you do, do not convert your miles through Points.com. The conversion rate is worse than horrible. There are so many ways that you can extend the use of your points. Take a look at the AA board on www.flyertalk.com for ideas. One easy way is to enroll your credit cards in the AA dining or shopping program. You can easily obtain points that way. It's free to join. Go to www.aa.com and go to the Advantage section for many ideas on how to earn points. BTW, AA has a credit card promo offering 40,000 miles. The link can be found at the AA site. 20,000 miles with a $750 purchase and 10,000 miles with $10,000 in spending the 1st year and 10,000 miles with $10,000 in spending the second year.
