Trying to make a six night reservation but I don't have enough points or bonus points to complete the reservation. The website simply says "not enough points" with no option to combine the two. Would calling HGVC help?

A possibility would be to book three nights with one and three nights with the other. Problem with that is there would be too few remaining points in either account to do anything with.

Any ideas?

You can try calling, but I've never heard of them allowing you to combine bonus with regular points for a single reservation. I think the best you can do is the two 3-day reservations.

You can not combine bonus pts and regular pts. You can make two separate 3 day reservations.

Is Hilton reliable at combining consecutive reservations booked differently or should I call the resort?

Even if 2 separate, consecutive 3 night reservations, if same person/owner, same property, mostly they should be able to take care of it & keep you in same room for the full 6 days; I would call the resort right after you book the 2 spearate 3 nite reservations as shared by folks before..
TY!

I have never had a problem. Just make sure that you book the same room type.

An alternative would be to look at your other reservations to see is there’s one you could shift from points to bonus points or vice versa so you can make this booking all one.

I looked into that. This is a second HGVC account with 5,400 points and 5,400 bonus points. Not too flexible. I booked a four night reservation with bonus points. Tomorrow, I'll book three nights and make it seven nights. (Gotta wait until tomorrow so the last night is in the booking period.) That will leave very small balances in both types of points, too small to do much with.

Agreed. At The District they put together four separate reservations for us. All were two bedrooms except the first night. They were very accommodating as it was off season and even put us in the one bedroom lock off so the next day we just had to get the key to the lock off and open the connecting door. The staff was great about it as I had called a few days before we arrived. Much of it was last minute booking due to weather related flight issues.
