Hawaii - Waiohai, Waikoloa, KBC, and (I think...but it's been a while) MOC. Also I'm pretty sure Ko Olina took our trash...but I see that @Lakeshore posted a Ko Olina tidy charge notice. Please list which US & Caribbean Resorts offer a Midweek cleaning and or towel exchange or any other additional services.
This posted sounds liked they were address only Marriott’s resorts. IMOHawaii - Waiohai, Waikoloa, KBC, and (I think...but it's been a while) MOC. Also I'm pretty sure Ko Olina took our trash...but I see that @Lakeshore posted a Ko Olina tidy charge notice.
Caribbean - WSJ, Frenchman's Cove, and St Kitts (though this might have been daily...we frequently put our Do Not Disturb sign out)
Daily - Boston, DC, SD, South Beach, RCC SF and St Thomas (and maybe St Kitts)
It was unclear since all the ones I mentioned are owned by MVW...and the Tidy's thread spoke of mid week tidys (or better) being unusual in timeshares in general. I could also have listed all the other timeshares in which we've stayed that offer mid week tidys (or better)...but they are not Marriotts. This posted sounds liked they were address only Marriott’s resorts. IMO
The post is in the Marriott forum. This posted sounds liked they were address only Marriott’s resorts. IMO
Yes, Bali MVC resorts also have daily tidy / housekeeping.I think towel exchange varies by resort. I don't really understand the need for towel exchange at most timeshares. At least when you have in room laundry. I recall years ago Ocean Pointe offering towel exchange when we were in a studio, but later they said they didn't offer it. Neither did Lakeshore Reserve. As for included mid-week tidy, it is more straight forward and can be summed up with;
I guess for some people, someone taking out the trash and making their bed once a week is important. For us, not so much. We just leave the DND sign on the door.
- Continental US MVC properties don't have mid-week tidy (except perhaps City Collection)
- Hawaii MVC properties do have mid-week tidy
- Caribbean MVC properties do have mid-week tidy
- European MVC resorts have daily tidy/housekeeping
- Asian MVC resorts have daily tidy/housekeeping.
- I don't know about other Australia and Bali, but I suspect they offer daily or at least mid-week.
- Westin and Sheraton Vacation Club has mid-week tidy.
I don't know which resorts that don't offer complementary mid-week tidy, offer it instead with a fee. This was pretty standard pre-pandemic but not all resorts have returned to offering a fee based tidy or cleaning during a stay.
I would be more interested to know which resorts don't follow the above "rules" vs what the situation is on a resort by resort basis.
Yes I was referencing only MVC resorts though the principles would flow generically. This posted sounds liked they were address only Marriott’s resorts. IMO
So to summarize it even more. Continental US MVC resorts have no complementary mid-week tidy, anything else has at least mid-week or daily.Yes, Bali MVC resorts also have daily tidy / housekeeping.
Australia (Surfers Paradise) is daily. It's a few floors in the middle of a JW resort (and is very, very nice).
- I don't know about other Australia and Bali, but I suspect they offer daily or at least mid-week.
City Collection deserves it's own bullet. Boston, SD, DC, and South Beach are all daily (or at least were the last time we stayed). I would guess Waikiki, NYC, and SF as well...but we haven't stayed in them.

I've updated the list in my original post.City Collection deserves it's own bullet. Boston, SD, DC, and South Beach are all daily (or at least were the last time we stayed). I would guess Waikiki, NYC, and SF as well...but we haven't stayed in them.
