Hello! Looking at owner experiences with pets at these resorts. I'm considering buying a week or two at one of these resorts, but would like to have the furry member of the family come with.

We stayed at Peak 7 with our service dog. Pets are allowed for owners only and only in certain rooms. They moved us (at check in) to a pet room which was totally fine.

We originally owned at Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and now own at Grand Colorado on Peak 8. Both allow dogs for owners only, or owners exchanging back into to their resort. As mentioned not all units are pet friendly, so you need t9 request a pet friendly unit when you make your reservation. So far we’ve never had an issue getting a per friendly unit.

Pets are not allowed everywhere in the resort, notably, not in the elevators. You have to take the stairs.

We’re not owners, but we’ve stayed at Grand Lodge at Peak 7 many times. I always enjoy seeing the dogs around the resort...I wish more timeshares allowed them! They have cute hangers (similar to “do not disturb“hangers) that they put on the doors of the units that have a pet inside. So far we’ve been able to trade in every year, but we may have to buy a week someday!
