Park & Fly and Reward Points

I have a few Marriott points I would like to use to stay at an airport hotel before our next trip. I wasn't able to select Park & Fly when trying to make a reservation, so I e-mailed Marriott. Their response was that Marriott Rewards points are not availabe to use with packages at this hotel. Has anyone used reward points for a Park & Fly stay? Thanks.
 
Perhaps it will be of use to you to study the www.marriottrewards.com site with special attention on their 'partners'. If park&fly isn't a partner you won't get points for it.

I've never seen rewards points being available for ANY package. It's always just the standard room and then additional points for upgraded floors, views, etc.
 
I have done park and fly several times at Washington Dulles. I think it is about $20 more than a standard room. Call the hotel and see if you can just pay the $20 to add parking to the standard award room. It is true that you can only book a standard room with the points.
