As previously noted, Park City has threatened to not open for next years ski season due to a lawsuit they have filed with Talisker, who owns most of the old mining claims the resort sits on. I got a season pass offering for next season this week stating if for reasons of the lawsuit PCMR does not open, they will refund all of the ticket if they do not open at all or some prorated portion if they settle part way into the season.
It is a really good price at $650 but a gamble for anybody in the timeshare interest sector as if you buy it and your timeshare reservations are not in the time it is open you are out of luck, so where we would normally buy passes, it is a poor risk sad to say.
Obviously you can still ski at Deer Valley, but their prices are climbing fast and no longer consider timeshare owners "locals" so very little in the way of deals there as they apparently try to "weed out" all but the most elite. Canyons has been getting bigger but as a skiier you have to be very careful with the majority boarders there who lay all over the slopes.
Sadly it may not be much of a season coming up for Summittwatch and Mountainside owners
