Ownership papers for MP- do I get a deed?

Hi- My brother got a MP resale via ebay, which I found for him. He is wondering if he gets a deed or some paperwork from the resort siginfying ownership. He did get the closing letter from the closing company but is that all? I told him Mexico is leasehold and that I would check with you experts regarding resale resort documents. Thanks.
 
Nope,

just the transfer papers that he should have a copy of with the closing letter, it is all you get.

We have purchased 6 contracts on eBay over the years, and only once have we actually received a letter from the Mayan Palace that our names were now the names on record for that particular contract. All of the others were like Greg said - just your copy of the transfer papers. I have always had to call the 1-800-AWAY-I-GO number to get my ID # because I don't want to wait to get it on the bill for the annual maintenance fees!

MP weeks are not deeded.
