Hyatt Residence Club Sedona
Hyatt Residence Club Carmel Highlands
We attended an owners update at Highlands, and my mistrust/distrust of sales staff is at an all time high.
We agreed to nothing, so there is nothing to rescind.
We should have stopped at the 2 resale fixed week units; those were a good deal (at the time; those weeks have now cratered in value). Instead, we added 2 more contracts to make exchanges easier. Those were probably okay.
They now are "encouraging" (read: Pressuring) us to trade it all in for points. In so doing, we'd end up with a payment PLUS fewer points.
Why would we do that?
And is it really true that resale fixed weeks have crashed in value?
I especially did not appreciate that they are insinuating that some of our fixed week privileges might go away. I don't think that would be legal.
I feel like Hyatt has gone downhill since the Marriott takeover.
