Yes, I know this is cringy on TUG, but I purchased Visata from the developer. After learning more from TUG, I am recommending to a friend that she buy resale. I am curious what her experience would be at the resort. Right now, I am at Westin Lagunamar. As as owner, I received a card for 20% discount on food and a beach bag. Would my friend receive the same owner benefits?
 
We are resale mandatory owners and have received the discount card when staying at Lagunamar using our StarOptions.
 
I think we also received it when we stayed on an II exchange. It was many years ago, but we weren't owners at the time.

we have several resale weeks at Lagunamar and we get all the benefits that any other owner gets while staying at the resort.
You may or may not be aware that Lagunamar Resales do not come with staroptions, so you can only book in your specified season with Fri/sat/sun checkin upto 12 months in advance

Thank you, all, for your help! I appreciate the StarOptions reminder...yes...I learned about mandatory and voluntary resorts on TUG. You guys are great!!!!
