Whatever they want to name it…

I usually skip these. in the past I have been offered $$$ Visas, maintenance fees, and HH. I was told that there was a budget for these gifts and I could attend a new review after 30 days. Not including paid for packages, what is the highest level of compensation that you have received for these presentations?

maybe… if we compare, we can get more!

these are my “top offers”
120K HH
$400 Visa
$250 Maintenance fee

$250 MFs
$260 Deer Valley Ski Lift tickets several years ago.

150k HH (La Pacifica)
$250 MF (NYC)
$300 (or perhaps $350 cannot remember) Elevated Rewards (NYC)

Anything less is not worth our time.

150k - a premium award night - or 2 standard nts at a Conrad. Nice! I stayed at La Pacifica and was never asked to attend a meeting.

We also received discounted tickets to the HGV F1 viewing event for 3 nights in Vegas. $500/night for dinner, heavy snacks, unlimited bar and entertain with live bands an adult family of 5 was a good deal compared to other options during this event. Grandstand basic seats would have been $1500+ for 5 adults not counting food and drinks.

The lift tickets were a cool incentive.

No personal cost?

my last 2 NYC offers included a payment from me. offers in pics. The MSG offer was soooo tempting, but I had already made plans for Monday evening!

My last Owner’s Review was at Cabo Azul. At check-in which took place in an office - not the front desk, the concierge made an appointment for me & charged me a fee - $25 - to hold the time. I got a refund, but still.

Our last "update" at Elara we got a $75 gift card and four dinner vouchers (@ $75 value each) to the Brazilian restaurant.
All you can eat beef! Not a bad gift! Ooooh my belly is full!

This past summer $200 in Visa gift cards at Hilton Hawaiian Villlage. Which I now realize I had totally forgotten about. They’re still in my travel backpack. Thanks for the reminder.

Glad you remembered them just reading this post. My condolences to your travel backpack, being used only once a year.

“ I was giving you a call to inform you that you qualify for an elite gifted owners update while you’re staying with us to hear the updates of the club that you’ve missed within the last few years. These are very beneficial and we are offering you the gift of either 200,000 Hilton honors points ( 5-7free nights ), $500 visa gift card, $600 towards your restaurant and rewards list, or $250 off your maintenance fee. NO PURCHASE / UPGRADE REQUIRED. I will list the times available the next few days if you’d like to choose a gift and time and I can book you! “
“This is an elite gifting opportunity and is very beneficial. We have these times available tomorrow: 8:45 am, 11 am, 11:30 am, 1 pm and 1:30.”

I took the 200K HH points and the 8:45 time slot. This was for Nov 11, veterans day holiday, so I don’t know if being on a holiday had anything to do with the high reward offer.

Nice. I'm going to ask for 500k HH points next time they approach me.

How long are these meetings? To get goodies, both owners have to go?
Usually 1 hour but it can last longer if you ask questions.

Thanks for this thread. Now I can adjust as needed in our negotiations.

In the past 8 days. I was asked to participate in 2 ORs. At CA on the 18MAR, I told the concierge I wanted 120K and they met my offer. I checked-in and was told they were short Sales Associates. I still got the HH Point but attended no meeting. The entry in my HH account was 2x60K. Today, I went to MBV, again asked for 120K and was told I would get a text if they could meet my desire. They did and after :55 minutes of talking I got 2 HH entries of 100K & 20K.

When I asked for 120K at The Quin, the concierge ripped out his printed copy of an email, stating 100K was his final and top offer. I disappointedly accepted his unwillingness to go the extra mile for me and get a manager in sales to meet my requirements.

I go back to the Elara in April, The Quin & Maui in June. I’m cool with 120K, but I always dip my toes into the 150K pool, just to see their eyebrows raise.

I spent 1.5 million HH points for a 30 day, 4 country trip - I need to refill my HH points!

Curious: Did the mgr at Quin up the 100K?

Did you take 100k or declined?

*Do we Craig Lodge facilitated legacy HGVC Elite Premiers get invited for OUs?
Presume they would like to 'Max' us, so they 'should'... (obviously I will never get Maxed or buy HGV trust or anything retail)....

$300 or 150k HH, which is the highest offer we’ve ever received. I still didn’t go. The divorce would cost way more.

In the past offers had been worth around $150. I wonder if they weren’t getting enough takers.
