OV at WKORV or OF at WKORVN

I've just booked an OV at WKORV for Sept. I was procrastinating but glad I got it. Looking online i see OF could be available at the North property. Would it be worth trying to switch? I've read there are some OF at the North that are not good views at all.

Ive stayed at both oceanfront buildings at North and while I like building 8 the absolute best, unless you can get the farthest corner of 5, the others in 5 aren't bad. Some people don't like looking over the pool or the beach bar. I'd take that any day over a partial ocean view where I have to look from the corner of the lanai to see the ocean.
 
At the risk of this turning into a thread of everyones opinion... ill toss in my two cents to @echino 's ranking... Given you are booking within 8 months Id rank them as follows...

OF S > OV N > OF N > OV S > IV N > IV S

To the points made above, there are OF N Views that are right behind the food truck, and given the timestamp that risk is even higher... All the OV N rooms are basically in building 7 facing out over the park between KORVN and Nanea, all of which I would take over a food truck view. If you want to mitigate risk and your view matters to you, that's my personal opinion I thought I'd toss in...

All that said, you never know... the best view in either OF far exceeds that in OV... Luck could be on your side!

Views are nice, noise not so nice for the OV in Bldg. 7 that are very close to the road.

I messed up my time stamp so yes, this is third floor oceanfront. But honestly we have enjoyed it.
Because you are facing north east the balcony is shaded all day and you have the back drop of the island to highlight the whale sightings.
I would actually request this location again although hope for a higher floor.

Yes, when I look down I see the food truck, but I just don't. Amazingly easy to train your eyes!

We had sixth floor OFC in South. Incredible views from the 6th floor. We could see both ends of Molokai and both ends of Lanai. We love owning in South in the center.

I agree there is no comparison to South OFC but I have never seen it at 8 months out so I like to manage my expectations ;)
