I went on an owners update last week. New retail trust points purchase for Max Premier+ is 24:1 conversion to Hilton Honors, 13 month Max booking window, two year trial as Centum, a trip with air and hotel to your choice for two with options in Peru, Japan and Hawaii. $3.30 per point.

New retail trust points for Centum is 32:1 conversion to Hilton Honors, 14 month Max booking window, and trip.

Rep said this promo with increased conversion started this month (March 2026). I said no. I was also offered residences platinum penthouse studio. And I also said no.

The lowest retail price for trust points that ive been offered is $2 per point

The rep turned me off in the first minute when she said that she offers services that no other rep offers. She even claimed that she has the power for immediately upgrade from lowest room category at a Hilton Hotel to too suite on property at booking. Haha!

Sounds like the rep we had at an update in Orlando in four years ago. She kept trying to impress us with the vacations SHE liked to take and couldn’t understand why we didn’t want the same.

I don’t understand the 13 month Max booking window, unless it’s the usual lie to get the contract signed.

The 13 month window is for HVC owners booking their home collection..."Max" just gets added to everything HGV and its salesreps say ;-)

You can only book the former Diamond properties at 13months. I don’t believe they have a Home resort for most. The BG owners do have an assigned PUP = Priority Use Period but I don’t think HVC or Embarc does.

They have a home trust collection such as HI, US, or Cabo Azul. I believe that you can book 13 months in your home collection and 10 months in the other collections (not positive on that statement)

Isn't that because HH points are getting constantly devalued?
That is what I also think is going on, plus one would need to purchase this new shiny developer purchase to get this "wonderful benefit." :crash: :wall::shrug:

I'm just shocked that people believe the nonsense. Posters show up on here all of the time claim they were "promised" a benefit that turned out to be nonexistent. I wonder if they also believe everything the politicians ramble.

I think, if the statement about HH points is true, they need a way to encourage sales. The HVC/ DRI points that they own are a freaking drain on their finances. They have to find a way to unload them and are hoping this will encourage those in the fence.

Embarc does, Max has to wait to 6 months out from checkout for us. All 9 Embarc resorts are bookable 11 months out from check-in by members (not Max). Hilton offers their own points on their site or 3rd party at 6 months out (for rental)

And this inventory is the developer inventory that they have to keep to keep members on the board? That is the way I understood it.

Hilton owns about 6%(only) of the total points. They use these points for sales (and rentals). It also allows them to control the board as long as they ensure to keep a little under 4% of the total points under developer control. Why? Because the developer has 15x the voting power per point more than the individual members do, so that effectively allows them to install their choice of candidate for 4 of the 5 positions on the board. One board director is elected only by the individual members (myself) and for that election the developer does not vote. The Master Declaration (governance documents) was created that way since the underlying real estate is owned by the developer so they want control - the members own "points" for which usage is guaranteed by being protected in a trust. Many points timeshares are structured that way without members being aware.

This could be correct, I know they are changing some conversion to HH ratios for points owners.
We were told this was going to happen at our last OU at Hilton Club Las Pacifica Los Cabos last February 2026.

U believe in what they tell U at an OU, Master Sensei?
Didn't say I believed it. Just saying what we were told. And now we are hearing it from other OU's. I guess time will tell. It certainly is an interesting development. Better than outright HH points devaluation while HGV tries to drive new trust and max sales.

The HHonors conversion on new retail trust points purchases was updated this month (March 2026) to 24:1 for Premier+ and 32:1 for Centum. In Fevruary it was 16:1. That part is true. The rest of what she said is well....it came from a sales rep.
