The last few days I have been trying to reserve a unit at 12 months out. Each day had multiple units available. This morning there was only 1 unit available and I got it. Woo hoo.

Here is this mornings view. I could get use to this.

The reservation I made this morning is for Puerto Vallarta .

This week we are staying near Conchas Chinas just south of PV. Our room is pool side, which at first we were not sure we would like, but as it turned out we love the location.

Yup. We are thinking of getting some units here. I would like a winter month or two.

The resort is 50% fixed unit and week and 50% floating. Javier at the resort can discuss what’s available with you. He has several floating weeks available. My understanding is there is only ONE fixed winter week for sale. There are 30 one-bdrm units. That means only 15 are available to ALL of the floating week owners. I own two floating weeks. I tried to book Halloween week for 2025. I called in one day late, and it was already not available. Someone on Redweek is selling fixed week 12 for either $6k or $8k. You own VDPM, so you know VDPM has two seasons—summer and winter. Each season at VDPM is 6 months long. So…at VDPM, if you own a winter membership, you’re competing with just 6 months of owners to make a winter reservation. At Lindo Mar, the summer season is only two months long. That means when you try to book a winter week, let’s say a January week, you’re competing with TEN MONTHS of owners—and remember there are only 15 floating one bdrm units.
