Another newbie question: I have 2 weeks in a 2 bedroom. I want to split them both up and have back-to-back weeks in the master suite and back to back weeks in the lock-off.

Will the on-line reservation system allow me to do this at 12 months out (the back-to-back part) or do I have to call a VA? I know I can do it at 13 months, but was wondering about booking back-to-back weeks when the first week is open, but the second week isn't.

Thanks!

Do you have an account yet? If you do you can logon and go through the process without finalizing it. Under your Account click on Check Availability. You'll see your units you own. When you get to the next page you can click on reserve the Full unit, the master suite or the Deluxe Guest room. Once you click one of those a calendar will pop up. The dates will be green if the week is reservable.

But for your situation since you want to consective weeks I believe you'll have to call Marriott. Also, I'd call weekly up to the 12 month window since you are booking consective weeks to see if anything opens up.

Yes, you'll have to call for those reservations. You can book weeks 12 months away online, but you can't book weeks that are 12 months and one week away, even though they are back to back.

I'd prefer to do it on-line, but I had a feeling it wouldn't allow it.

Thanks for your help!

You can't book 13 months out over the net if you own more than one week?

No. Marriott is working on that, but thus far, online booking is not available more than 12 months in advance. You have to call.
