Just to let everyone know, we were offered 52,500 Bonvoy points to attend an update through Sheraton PGA Village in port St Lucie. The update was to be held at a Marriott property nearby. We declined.

What Marriott property near by? Oceana Palms? That is a 45 minute drive. I suspect they have to up the ante to get people to take that much time out of their day to attend.

There's a lot of variation and I have no clue what they base it on.

We got offered 50K Bonvoy points or 500 Abound points at NCV earlier this year, but only 20K Bonvoy points at Ocean Pointe. The ridiculous part of that some resorts (those that don't offer a lot) will tell you that that all resorts offer the same. They definitely don't....

We only were offered 400 club points at Westin Kierland, or $200 visa or $250 Marriott credit(?). Can’t remember exactly the Marriott $250 since had already decided the 400 club points.

At Westin Lagunamar. Offered 500 club points or 40,000 Bonvoy Points or $250 resort credit/ Visa. Also offered the Owners Dinner at the Kempinski Hotel. We were told we were only obligated to attend a new discounted Owners Update lasting 75 minutes instead of 90. Still said no. Last November we did the Owners Update here and took the 500 club points as it let us top up our Abound club points so we could get an OF versus OV unit at Marriott Kauai Beach Club.

As mentioned in another thread - we took 400 CPs for an at-home video owner update and spent very little time with us (~15min).
Worth it as it gave us 3+ weekday nites in a MVC Grand Chateau (Vegas) in a studio for a <60 days reservation (Chairman level). We are using these CPs in a couple of weeks to see Phish at The Sphere.
We won't do a in-house update, but the at home was worth it.

It just shows that they offers are not the same for everyone. We were offered 25K for a 75 minute presentation at Lagunamar this week. We bargained to get 30,000 if we did 90 minutes. They spent less than an hour with us and we were out the door.

This is really the first time I've heard about the Owner's Dinner. It wasn't offered to us, but I talked to a couple breifly by the pool who mentioned it. We've been offered it when staying at a Hilton Vacation Club even though we weren't owners. We didn't go but it would have only been $10pp for a dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House.

Do they offer the Owner's Dinner at any other locations?

I believe it is offered elsewhere. I was told it applies to Presidential and Chairmain level owners. It is the first time it has ever been offered to us and we are Presidential and were at Lagunamar three times last year.

How did this even come about. Did they contact you randomly for this? I’d love that type of update.
