I just contacted Marriott Vacation Club about possibly reselling a week. I was told I already have my name on the list from last year when I sold my Manor Club week.

The odd part is they said that they have quite a few on the the list for the property and season I was looking to sell. They also said they have not sold any in the last 12 months, but when I pull up their web site and look at available units they do not list the season I am thinking about selling. I would think they would have better luck selling them if they listed that they had them for sale.

Where do you find Marriott resales by Marriott?
TIA

A few years back, MVC Resales told me they do not list all of their resale inventory on their website. This helps force a potential buyer into contacting them via phone for a verbal sales discussion on inventory, prices, and other MVC options available. I personally wish they would list everything. That would allow me as a potential buyer to better price any resorts/view/seasons I am interested in. That would allow you as a potential seller to have higher confidence a buyer would see your inventory online via MVC Resales, vs not seeing it and thinking they had none.

This seems to be true because I called them a few months ago to find out what unit number and week it was that was advertised. They will let you know what is on the list.

He also told me that he was going to list a few more weeks like that but I don't see them advertised yet but haven't looked the last few weeks.

If you call, they will get back to you but not immediately, in our case, so you may have to call back a second time.

I do find it odd that they wouldn't list every week they have available. I think the issue is that the department is very small. They probably don't have all the resources to handle everything they need.
