Is it normal that Ocean Walk would have no availability except for one checkin date in all of March 2016 already ? Will other dates open up later ? I'm hoping for March 12 checkin

Could open up when people pay Maintenence fees at the end of December, early January.
Thats still "the snowbird season" here in Florida
Most are monthly with Wyndham. Not sure how that changes things?
Most likely I would book whatever opens up first.

This is the last weekend of Bike Week. Very doubtful that anything will open up.
Sad to say, but close to the 15 day window you might get some cancellations. Not a really effective way to plan a vacation or trip. Spring break you have to jump on those week at the 10 month mark pronto.
You can stalk the location daily at different times, and get lucky we all have smartphones so it is easy to do a quick search. Will get you really good at looking for inventory in the future, also try different lengths of stays.

That is the start of spring break for Canada also.
There is 7 night availability for March 13th. One day difference.

Thanks everyone I guess I will begin stalking daily. Last year I snagged a week for the same time frame 4 months ahead.

I don't really follow Ocean Walk. There is no availability right now for the last week of June or the first week of July 2016, but there is for the other weeks. I don't know if I would count on summer beach weeks still being there at 6 months out though.
