I was sure I had this info saved away for myself for someday but can’t find it anywhere- could someone share a resort map for Ocean pointe?
I have a DC points reservation for an oceanfront 2Br that has a king in the 2nd BR.
Any suggestions on what to request? We always ask for high floor, no mobility problems, like it quieter( not right next to pool or bar), view is priority.
Thanks for any help- I browsed through the ocean pointe sticky and used the search bar but couldn’t find my info.

If you want truly quiet- Kingfish is separated from the rest of the resort by a condo building. Some love being separated, others hate it.

We stayed in an OceanFront in the Sail Fish building in May. It was a 1st floor unit so it was more pool front than Ocean front, but we still enjoyed it.

Thank you.
I should edit my original to explain when I say quiet I mean we’d prefer not to be right near the pool or bar with lots of loud voices, not that we want to be isolated.
Any thoughts/ favorites among the 4 main buildings? Anyone know if the room type we have limits us to a specific building/ location?

Level 1 is still considered Ocean Front if it the end unit of the building facing the ocean, so no being Ocean Front does not guarantee you would not be near the noise of the pool. I don't think they play any music at the Cobia pool, only at the Sailfish pool. So if you don't want Kinghfish which would certainly be the quietest- I would request Pompano or Cobia.

Every building has Ocean Front units, so you could be in any of them.

Thank you- didn’t think to look there I thought it might be a separate sticky.
By the way, I found your destination timeshare videos on Ocean Pointe- very helpful!

Kingfish has the most OF facing units with the best possible view, even if you get a lower floor, but an in,et view is considered OF, so keep that in mind.

If you want to be on the main campus, I’d choose Cobia first. Sailfish 2 bedroom units face north, so they’d be quieter but you won’t have a great view of the beautiful grounds of the resort. Dolphin will be nearest the main family pools, bar, gazebo and above the Marketplace. Pompano will be next to the Cobia pool with the water aerobics classes in the morning.

I’d go with Cobia #1 and Sailfish #2 if you want the main campus.

We have stayed on a 4th floor inlet facing unit in Kingfish and we thought the view was awesome! Keep in mind those units are facing due south so it will be bright and possible a bit warmer. As far as being isolated from the main section, we did not feel that way at all. its a very short walk. enjoy your stay, its one of our favorite resorts.

Just a heads up…the Dolphin building will be undergoing renovations beginning early September thru late November 2021
