Ocean Pointe - both Sailfish pools closed

Both Sailfish pools are closed and being drained without warning. It was not listed on the resort status page when we left last week. Some drain part is being replaced - i saw see the pool company truck offloading 2 large tanks. Seems odd they are closing both pools at the same time.

They are saying they will be closed until Friday, which is after we are gone. Bummer - and good luck getting a spot at the Cobia or tiny Kingfish pools.

Pools still half drained and parts still sitting where delivered yesterday. No obvious progress.

IIRC, they had just resurfaced these not long ago. I'm thinking in February. Perhaps they sprung a leak? Unexpected issues?

Sounds like they are pumps to relieve the hydraulic pressure under the pools. The water table is high being so close to sea level.
