My sister is rebooking her ATA cancelled flights on UA and will probably arrive 1 day early and leave 1 day later. She will need 1 extra night on each end for 8 people. Two rooms. Does anyone have any recommendations for reasonable accommodations? She will be staying at the HHV timeshare for the bulk of the week. Thanks in advance!

ResortQuest is a good option. It's got oceanview units on the diamond head side of Waikiki beach. And, the rates are always good. When you do priceline, you will frequently win a ResortQuest unit.

Check out the Doubletree, which is close by, and usually has decent rates.

What about the Embassy Suites on Beach Walk? You can get a one or two bedroom suite with breakfast and evening snacks. It isn't far from the Hilton.

When are they traveling?

They arrive on June 20 and need that one night. They leave their timeshare on June 28, so will need that night and maybe one more. Total trip is June 20-June 30, probably.

Thanks for the quick reply. Do you recall what the rates are using priceline for ResortQuest? Is there often availability in the summer?

I would definitely bid on a 4 Star or Resort Hotel on Priceline. To see recent winning bids go to biddingfortravel/Oahu The hotel list is at the top of the board. Email me if you need help with a strategy.
