NYC Restaurant Week
Gourmet Prix-Fixe Menus

Enjoy special three-course, prix-fixe menus at some of the city's best restaurants.

Dates: July 16-20 and July 23-27, 2007 (Monday through Friday only)

Price: $24.07 lunches, $35 dinners; prices are per person and do not include beverage, tax or gratuity

For participating restaurants, see the list at:

http://www.opentable.com/promo.aspx?pid=69&m=8&ref=1351

You do not have to make reservations at this web site. You can call the restaurants directly. But there is no extra charge or "downside" to booking here. In fact, if you join Open Table (free), points are accumulated for every res. made and completed. The points can be used for gift cards in the future.

NYC Restaurant Recommendations

This is a timely post for us because we just booked July 24-27 at the Manhattan Club. Can someone who knows NY restaurants recommend a few on the NYC Restaurant Week list close to the Manhattan Club for Lunch and Dinner?

We will be at MC July 21-28 so I would also appreciate suggestions.
Thanks!!

Thank you for posting this.

The best thing is to look at the websites and at the menus posted for restaurant week. Many of the restaurants have good values, but the menus tend to be more limited and, if you don't care for the choices, you may prefer their regular menus. Most of the participating restaurants have rest. week menus posted on their websites so it is good to look at them beforehand.

I agree, check the menus. I have eaten dinner at both 5 Ninth and Union Square Cafe. Both very good. 5 Ninth was delicious.

No matter what, you can't beat the prices! We also love it when Boston does their Restaurant Week!

Wife and I will also be in Manhattan from July 21 - 28 and hopefully we will be comfortable in the studio.

Thanks for suggestions as to where to eat. We lived in NYC in 80s but so much has changed. Looking forward to seeing all the sites again.

Mike
