Now we've determined WHAT you ARE: Now don't play the victim

No words of scorn for the men? Monica wasn't married and was of legal age. Both of these men were married. So, what, she's a whore and they are studs? Nope. Ditch the double standard. It takes two to tango. Married men that up that number deserve much more ridicule. They betrayed their wives, went against their marriage vows. Who did Monica betray?

Monica is not and was not a prostitute. Where is any evidence that she is a paid sex worker?

I'm old enough to be damned tired of the crap that women are sluts and men are studs. Stop it. Sex is normal human stuff. If it makes a woman bad, it makes a man bad, too.

I urge you to change the title you gave this thread. It's repulsive.

The thread title reminded me of a Groucho Marx You Bet Your Life episode so I opened the thread. I have no interest in reading the article. I agree with geekette's comments and suggestions.

Yes it takes two to tango, but no double standard. Be it a woman or man who pursues the partner in a relationship. There are also those that are in a relationship and aggressively pursue those outside the relationship.

If you read the article, it was not an isolated incident.

The issue is the tread title that you chose (it didn't come from the article). I agree with @geekette; very inappropriate -- we all know the off-color joke it comes from, so you are definitely applying a double standard here. I was a bit taken back, because it seems out of character from your usual posts. If you can, I would suggest at least changing the thread title.

Not saying Monica is of sterling character, but what is with the men that can't say no??? You cannot put this all on her. She pursued, they could have said no. Or, are men so weak that any opportunity, married or not, they'll pounce? Yet, the woman is a slut and zero problem with the man?? No. that's crap. It's always been crap.

I knew a woman that only pursued married men because she didn't want committment. Terrible choice, in my opinion, but what does it say that so many men are willing to betray their wives for easy sex? Who is really the slut?

Point taken.

Thread title change to "don't play victim"? seriously, where the hell is that coming from??? Surely we are talking about the man in the article that not only was carrying on an affair with Monica but also another woman?

Or, please point to something recent that Monica has done to paint herself as victim.

I will assume that you are definitely not talking about the wife in the article.

From my first posted article, she had her own brand of "creepy" going on.

She said all along that she wasn't a victim.
