Hi,
I have decided to sell my Marriott Grande Vista 3br with Florida club option. Annual platinum w/lock out option. I am having difficulty figuring out what I should list this week for so I have come to the experts. Does $6,800 sound like a reasonable selling price?

Sounds a bit high, but you'll figure that out on your own if you don't get any nibbles on it. Redweek.com currently has a 3 Bedroom Platinum week for $5,500 so you know what your competition is.

Hi and thanks for your response. I saw that one but it will never materialize. I am still waiting for a return call from that agent about an Aruba listing from last July. The other two are $6,650 and $6,950 but mine has the option of booking directly through Marriott in a choice of 4 Florida locations. ( Ocean Point in Palm Beach or Beach Place Towers in Ft. Laurderdale, or Villas at Doral in Miami or Legends in Panama City). This is why I am thinking about $6,800.

Hi! I want to sell my Marriott grande vista platinum week too. Marriott tells me they can sell it for about 13 K and I’ll net about 6K. but For RedWeek the going price is about 3K. I actually got a Red Week off for 2k that I passed on. It seems to good to be true that Marriott can sell this property for 13k. Who do I believe?

You can see what is and what isn't passing ROFR on the following website. Once you read that you may be able to determine a fair asking price for your own sale.

Thank you for the information. So if I see a transaction that was recently approved at $3250. What does that mean as far as what Marriott may be willing to pay me?
I priced at 3K on RedWeek which appears to be a going rate. If Marriott is willing to let properties sell around that same price point, it just doesn’t ring true that they’d pay me 6k. Does my logic make sense? Is offering to sell it for me just a tactic to delay my sale from depressing the market from their POV?
