HI all;
We will be At Westgate Vacation Villas for 3 weeks in May. This is down by the rt 192 enterance. We need a few restaurant recommendations. we are not fancy people if that helps. Almost as important, which restaurants should I avoid.

Thanks
Wayne

Not that you won't get good answers here but..... go to www.chowhound.com and click on the Florida forum (then do a search). There are tons of reviews. Chowhound talks about all food from hot dogs to haute cuisine - never take a trip without it!!! :cheer:

You can walk to Golden Corral. It's not fancy at all, but the food is not too bad and the price is right. It is a buffet. You can always get coupons in those adverising booklets for 10% off .

The Black Angus Streakhouse is on the 192. DH has eaten there and said the steak was excellent, but he knows the owner so maybe that helped. Carrabas the Italian place is also great.

Definitely Bahama Breeze, great food, great atmosphere.

totally agree on Bahama Breeze. But it's not located close to you. It's about a 15 minute drive. But we eat at Bahama Breeze every single trip.

Carrabba's has great Italian food...The Macaroni Grill is on 192 also. Then you have your normal chain eateries....like Red Lobster, Houlihans, RubyTuesday's, Fridays, Golden Corral, Logans, etc.

Bahama Breeze is not that far, unless you're going to the one up on Int'l Drive. Take 1-4 and get off at the exit for Downtown Disney, with Vistana on your right. Turn right at the bottom of the ramp, then take the first left. It's right there. We like this place too.

3 weeks - nice and relaxing! Enjoy!

Goldne Corral

Another vote for Golden Corral. I thought it wass great and had the coupon out of the tourist book.

Cracker Barrel, giordanos, Golden Coral, Lone Star Steakhouse across from Orange Lake. Should be open by now.
