No TSA PreCheck - airport security exiting Europe

We’re spoiled by PreCheck, I know. In May we’ll fly on British Airways out of Paris CDG to London LHR to connect to our flight home, also on BA. CDG website says we’ll have to put phones, iPads, 311 bag of liquids, and wallets/keys etc. in separate bins and may have to remove shoes. Sigh, we’ll be prepared for that. What about making connection in LHR - will we have to go through security again, or just immigration passport check?

Double check, as it can depend. LHR have the new technology for security screening so you don't have to take things out of your carry on and the limit on liquids is 2ltr

In Barcelona once, I got the dreaded "X" on my boarding pass.
Nevermind PreCheck, I had to go thru special screening.
I waited in a line off to the side, while my DW went to the gate.
Geesch.
