No Reservation Number on RCI Online Confirmation

Hi,

I have two reservations at a resort for the same dates and neither online confirmation has a reservation nor a confirmation number. I am very uneasy as the print outs for both reservation are identical.

I phoned RCI and the VC said that they do not use reservation numbers. In case of a RCI mistake, I can't even show the resort that I have two separate reservations.

I phoned the resort at about 2 weeks before check-in and they have no record of the reservations.

RCI agreed to fax the resort the reservation information.

Has anyone else had a problem like this?

Has anyone had a problem with not having a reservation/confirmation number?

not unusual

I've never seen an RCI confirmation number, and have been told by Guides there are no confirmation numbers. Each of your confirmations should list a unit number which would differentiate between the two reservations. Also, its not unusual for a resort to not have your name several weeks before your arrival. If its one of the larger chains, the resort may not have received its manifest from the home office that early.
