No Credit Card payments in S.A.

Has anyone been told that their TS will not accept a CC payment unless the card is actually at the TS in South Africa. Been told my card be at the location in SA. As of June 2018 Banks won't allow just input of info to their machines. Or is my TS just avoiding CC company fees?

I own 4 weeks in South Africa at Sudwala Lodge. I paid my levies for 2019 using my American Express card on August 7th . No problem. And all 4 are already banked with RCI. hope this info. helps
