No ARP for resale contracts? Is this true.

The last of my developer points expired in October. I was a silver VIP and now I should be a regular owner starting 2025. Wyndham still shows me as VIP for several weeks I could search but only under developer points but could not book. I had to call reservations to book it.

I own at La Belle Maison with a resale contract. When I went to use my ARP as I have for several years to book Mardi Gras 2026 it would not confirm. I called to find out why and was told that resale contracts DO NOT HAVE ARP. Is this true? This contract has always been a resale contract and always booked ARP. What is different now?

Thanks in advance for the information.

I could swear I saw something recently about ARP on converted contracts not working online at the moment, but calling should work (unless you get an agent who provides an incorrect explanation, as you did). I’d call again and get someone else.

We also own at LBM. Just tried to do a dummy booking for Mardi Gras. There is some availability left, but not much. Most of the units probably go taken at the 13 month mark last month.

Our contract there is also resale. (added)

Could have been me. I have a resale converted fixed week (Unit 801, Week 1) at Wyndham Santa Barbara. I have been unable to book my week (January 3-10, 2026). Vacation Counselor couldn't do it either. A ticket was opened and is still open(!). On March 3, 2025, I should be able to book it without relying on ARP.

It's puzzling why something as established and ordinary as ARP can't be fixed.

Are you using webpage or app? To book resale on a webpage, you must start from the "dashboard" search. Performing the search this way the system allows you to complete the booking using resale points. You will receive an error if you try to complete the reservation from the calendar.

I receive an error no matter whether I use the webpage or the app, start from the dashboard or calendar, and regardless of what computer or browser I use.
