For crying out loud, is this the biggest timeshare in THE WORLD?? You need a car just to drive to the pool!!

Hey,
I had a similar experience this summer. I can't call this one of Marriott's best due to the layout of the resort.

I love the resort, but it can be quite a hike to the pool. We've stayed in building 39 and in building 41.

I guess it's a good thing we're not big fans of swimming. While I enjoy hanging out by the pool, it's rare that either of us get in. It's to bad that Marriott didn't spread more pools around this complex to make it easier on everyone that might want to swim.

Call the front desk - they will send someone in a golf cart to come get you as well as take you back when you're done. That's what we did when we were there. We were in building 42 I think, and that's even further away.

We did not use the pool much either. SoCal just has too many good things to do, it kept us busy every day. We just walked around the property in the evening. The in-laws used the golf carts all the time, no problem.

We love walking around the resort. BUT The resort has all these paths and stairs which are blocked for " fire protection"?? The resort should complete the trails/walks so you can walk around the resort without having to walk in the middle of the street!!

We didn't mind the walking either. Saw it as an opportunity to burn some of those extra calories we were consuming. Do you know how many calories are in a Pina Colada?

Less than all the deserts my father in law kept buying everyday when we were there.....
