I recently completed the pre check-in email for my upcoming visit.

I am traveling with 3 other women in their 70s and won't have a car.
I explained this on my request because it's a long walk to main pool.
I requested 2 nearby buildings, 2400 and 3600 if I recall correctly.

I received the following reply:

"For future requests we kindly ask that you provide at least three buildings to our team."

(I am chuckling because I don't think I've ever received my requested building.)

Any suggestions about what building I should request as my 3rd choice?

We stayed in building 3900 and really enjoyed the serenity…and, especially, the view

To be fair, their pre-arrival email does ask that if you are going to indicate specific buildings, to ask for at least three. I think another issue is building 3600. This is the main checkin building and I think there are really only a small handful of units in 3600. So you kinda only gave them one and a half buildings for your request.

Building 3700 might also be a good option. You will be higher than the second floor as the first two floors are the sales gallery. Parking can be an issue with 3700 but probably no different than 2400 and 3600 that you've already requested.

My daughter is handicapped, which building do you recommend? We are going end of February. Would like close parking with a view.

Hopefully you told them of any mobility limitations. Many units require steps to access. I would reply, let them know this and add 3700 ASAP.

I agree with dioxide45, as if you want to be by the main pool on that same level(so as not to have to use steps to get to a pool area, then 3600, 2400, and 3700 would be best. Or you could also request 5000 and 5100 to be close to the pool area at the top of the resort. While not at the main pool, you have a less crowded pool, jacuzzis(2 I think) a gym, grills, fire pit, shuffle board, ping pong, a little golf chipping area, a big lawn with pretty views. It’s also by the tennis and pickleball courts. But you wouldn’t have the bar and grill or the marketplace like in the main building. But I do think parking would probably be more convenient at the top. And, you can always call and talk to someone after you put in your third request. Explain your situation and they might be able to help even more. You could also make sure your building requests all have elevators. Have a wonderful time! NCV is gorgeous!

I know when filling out the online form for pre-arrival they do have a preference drop down for elevator access. Here's a link to the buildings that don't have elevators.
