Newbie points exchange question

I've never owned a timeshare but I'm looking to buy into HGVC. If I post points on RCI or II, is there some set exchange rate or is it point for point?

If you purchased HGVC, there is a set point exchange rate should you trade into RCI along with set fees. Many resorts also will add fees when you check in.

Hilton is the company that adds the most fees! lol
but HGVC owners dont pay them.

@OP, Hilton is not a global RCI account. So your account will be filtered in ways you cant see.
IDK if you can share points with other owners like normal RCI accounts.

Hilton is great but can often be accessed via RCI using less expensive systems.
If youre committed to hilton though, go for it.
