We’re all HGVC resale dating back to 2016 and Diamond HH.

When making reservation for Waldorf Astoria on phone last spring with Hilton hotels they offered HGVC sales package. This reservation was for the free night with Aspire AMEX CC.

We selected New York for 75,000 HH points and two night stay for total of $113.61 at the Quinn.

on the day of our sales presentation We were called early before our scheduled appointment to see if we could come in and we did. After checking in and waiting for about 10 minutes a tall man who identified himself from Hinton grand vacation corporate came out and asked us when we purchased from Hilton. We told him we had bought all resale and did not buy directly from Hilton.
The Hilton corporate man was very polite and then said we did not need to go to the sales presentation and he would just give us the 75,000 points which we accepted and confirmed HH point deposit with a print out on the spot. He did say we could attend the Sales presentation if we really wanted to but we declined so we we’re in and out in about 10 to 15 minutes.

I had a very similar experience in NY back in June. The sale guy took us back to his desk, but immediately asked about our resale Elara deed. He then pivoted and asked if we had any interest in buying in NYC for the club benefits, and when I said no he said we could go, no sense wasting everyone's time.

In and out nice and quick, took longer to walk over from the Hilton Club than the whole presentation process.
