New Westin Palm Desert (Desert Willow), Prices? Voluntary Resort?

Does anyone have any idea of where the prices will be starting for platinum season at Westin's upcoming Palm Desert property? Also, is it safe to assume it will be a voluntary resort?

I called Mission Hills yesterday to ask about this. They could not tell me when they are going to start selling, maybe 3-6 months and of course they could not tell me about pricing.The are not taking names to send info either I guess we will hear throught the grapevine! I didn't even ask about it being voluntary....I'm just assuming it will be, if Princeville is voluntary, I can't imagine them making Desert Willow mandatory.

As to whether it will be a V or M resort ? V resort - bet on it.
(even though they are 'illegal'... sorry... I couldn't help myself...)

I think you know this, but absolutely no one is saying that v resorts are illegal. Just that they'll have to treat the inventory as two separate pools. The books have to be balanced, one way or another.
