Aruba Airport Hosts Press Visit in Anticipation of the Opening of the New U.S. Check-In Terminal

Oranjestad, Aruba – April 3, 2025 – In preparation for the upcoming soft opening of the new U.S. Check-In Terminal at Queen Beatrix International Airport, Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) welcomed members of the local press for an exclusive site visit. This tour offered an inside look at the state-of-the-art check-in hall and advanced baggage handling system, key components of Phase 1A of the Gateway 2030 Project.

Yes. The gate area and lounge aren’t changing.
Phase 1A of the airports Gateway 2030, enhancement project is solely for the departure hall, not the gate area.
 
Has anybody gone through the new departure process for American Airlines in Aruba? Curious to find out how long it takes from drop-off to gate with all of the new changes.
