Anyone watching "Extant" with Halle Berry new TV series this summer. I just found out the other night my Son is doing the Visual Effects for this TV show also. He is still working on "Under the Dome" too. I tried to get him to tell me who killed the girl, Angie but he really didn't know. Said he hasn't watched the shows in full just pulls the effects sections. He is never home when the show airs so he tapes it and hasn't had time to watch them.
 
I haven't watched it, but just read where it was doing poorly in ratings (already) and they were moving it to a later time slot in hopes it would do better.
 
I think Junior's uncle killed Angie. In this last episode, he was going to suffocate Junior with a pillow as he slept before having second thoughts.
 
Under the Dome and Extant are both on my DVR list. I enjoy them both.

PS if you watched the last episode you know who killed Angie.

Hey no thats Under The Dome, but I have been watching EXTANT and I am enjoying it, a little farfetched but has my attention!
 
I think it was the uncle too. I watched the first episode of Extant and last night also missed a couple weeks in between. I think I might start to like it. Is that because my Son is working on this too? Didn't seem to have as much as the Visual Effects the Dome has tho. It came on at 9pm central time last night, so maybe they did change the time.
 
DH records both and sometimes I see the shows when he's watching them. Both seem like interesting stories.

Hop, your son must be very talented and is in demand for his skills. Good for him.
 
I wish someone would kill "Junior." That character is insufferable.

Extant has devolved into a predictable nice-peep vs. gov't-creeps show,
but with high production values -- a credit to your son, no doubt.
 
I like Extant. I like most futuristic sci-fi shows that involve AI with emotion and/or ethical issues.
I like Continuum and Almost Human as well.
