I just bought 154,000 ebay points EOY biennial. I already own Wyndham annually 126,000 and EOY 126,000. My use year for all three contracts begins Jan. 1 Every other even is MB, annual is Santa Barbabra FL and the Ebay is Wisconsin Dells. Should I combine them to one contract? Or can I combine them? This is all new to me?

First, welcome to tug! :hi:

Second, I don't completely understand your question. I don't think you can combine the contracts, but you can combine them all under one membership number. Is that what you were asking?

Yes, that is what I meant. I can combine the ebay points to my current membership number. Thank you

One membership number for all your contracts is the only way to go and is more flexible (you can only have up to 15 contracts under one membership number). If you make a reservation which requires additional points than you have in one contract I don't think you'll be able to borrow from a contract under your other membership number. If you can you'll have to make a reservation over the phone which will cost you addition $ if you're not a VIP.

Yes, we are VIP. I am going to combine it as soon as I can. Thanks.

Just curious how with 280K EOY or 140K annual VIP credit and 126K annual points you get to 400K required for VIP. Ignoring last purchase was resale.

Combining is definitely more convenient and saves on POA fee!

I have 34 under one contract

We got it under a promotion when we bought Santa Barbara.

Often Wyndham gives you temporary (2 years or so) VIP status, so that when they take it away they can convince you to buy more.

You beat me to the draw. Some 12+ years ago when I naively made Developer purchases sales weasel upgraded me to VIP Gold for one year and Silver 2 years.

They also locked purchase price if I went for permanent status as it was best thing going since sliced bread and electric ass scratchers.

But, not aware of any promotions lasting more than two years!

Check paperwork carefully!:ponder:

New question. I will not get my contract for this ts for another 4 weeks or so. I have 4000 Wyndham points left on existingcontracts for this year. Can't do anything with them but now I will have 158,000. My only option is to deposit the whole thing in RCI? Taking a vacation this year is out.

Yes, putting them in RCI will be the only viable option if you can't take a trip yourself. You could offer to rent them if you don't want to put them in RCI, but you'll likely only get about 2/3rds of the MF cost if you're lucky.

We have owned TS since 1999. So sad that we don't really know how to utilize our points in the best way. Learning more each year though. I think we will put them in RCI and take a family vacation with them when the boy returns from deployment. Thanks. :hi:
