I just noticed that the StarOptions balances page has gotten a significant facelift. It now shows the number of StarOptions remaining by year, resort, unit, and lockoff component. Very handy!

The only shortcomings that I notice off hand are:

  1. My fixed VOI doesn't show up at all. It's currently in "unconfirmed reservation" status and doesn't show up in my StarOptions balance. In years past, canceling the reservation has immediately returned the StarOptions. My guess is that doing so would cause it to appear on this screen as well.
  2. There is no indication whether or not Home Resort priority for a particular unit has been lost. This is something that could be of use in cases where an SVN reservation was made and subsequently canceled.

The SOs for my fixed WSJ weeks for 2017 are not listed either.
They are part of my upcoming reservations as unconfirmed (action required) - that apparently can be confirmed now - 18 months ahead of time. There was a another thread claiming fixed reservations can no longer be made at more than 12 months ahead (guess that was wrong...)
As mentioned - I am waiting to 10 months as if they are reserved and then unreserved - the weeks are lost and converted to SOs. No upside in doing earlier.

Useful! I was just figuring out that list manually a few days ago to see how many I had left of what unit to figure out my Christmas 2016 alternatives. I went to make a fake booking just so I could get to the screen where it lets you choose the SO's from specific units, etc.

The SOs for my fixed WSJ weeks for 2017 are not listed either.

Hmm, I'm missing one of my WDW weeks in that summary, and I don't see it anywhere else. It's definitely not a fixed week though, so must be some other problem. I see all of my fixed-float weeks in the list.

I noticed one of my fixed-float SVR weeks was also missing from that summary, but after your comment, I went to the upcoming reservations list, and voila, there it is asking me to confirm it for Oct 2017, so 22 months in advance.

I have a WSJ week awaiting confirmation as well. In the past, when I've wanted the SOs instead, I've simply confirmed the reservation online and then immediately canceled it. I can't imagine you don't want to use your WSJ weeks, though. How come you're waiting until 10 months out?

My pool villa (both weeks) are showing SOs in 2017. 2016 is reserved so they don't show SOs.

On the Villa Finder, do those pool villa weeks show up with a red "Unconfirmed" message and a button to confirm the reservation?

Where are you seeing the option to confirm fixed week/unit reservations?

No, but the 2017 weeks are 23 months away. So, I would not expect them to show now.

My 2017 week showed up a few weeks ago. But it's earlier in the year, so if yours are in November/December they may not show up yet. Once they do, check the StarOptions Balances page again and see if they are still there.

Thanks. I definitely don't see that option in mine. Hopefully it's there at 18 months. I would happy if I can avoid calling to confirm.

Did it disappear from the StarOptions balances page?
