New RCI opportunities

I have been a timeshare owner for over 25 years and my home resort trades through RCI. I would like advice on fairly low maintenance fee resorts that trade fairly well. Maybe something that would bring more new opportunities than what I am constantly seeing with RCI now. Not expecting miracles, would just like to add some more choices. to travel. Any recommendations would be gratefully accepted. Thank you so much!

I think you probably already see what RCI has to offer, so I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. I think Grandview points get you a good number of points / MF and are easy to break out for multiple trips depending on what you end up booking. I believe a couple are being given away right now in the free TS forum, but if they're gone I'd just keep a look out for others.

I feel like I am seeing the same resorts over and over as I only own 45,000 Annual RCI points currently. I see the thread for the free Whyndam Reward points which would maybe offer me to be able to see new resorts on RCI (if I transferred the Whyndam points to RCI) but those maintenance fees are crazy. Guess what I am trying to say is what is my best, cheapest way to get more points with RCI, something with low maintenance fees, and high trading power.

dont trust that false marketing.
Wyndham accounts see the same inventory as global RCI accounts (non wyndham, worldmark, shell, hilton, bluegreen) but costs more to book usually as youve pointed out.
I ran a comparison with a friend looking at his wyndham account vs my global account inventory was the same, cost was higher due to point conversion and CPP (cost per point)

I guess what I'm saying is you'll see the same resorts after getting more points, just maybe you'll be able to book more that have a higher point cost. Unlike II, I really don't think there's that much of a different view between different RCI traders. It's just points. And from what I gather, Points see Weeks also, but not the other way around.

So the question is - do you see resorts you want but can't "afford" in points? Or are you wanting to see completely different resorts. Cause the first is easy, look for a Grandview or other low MF/PT ratio place. If it's the second, I'm afraid you've been mislead - You could consider looking for an inexpensive II trader I guess - those see Marriotts, but none of that is guaranteed, and II does have different views depending on what you are trading in.

That’s interesting. I never thought about finding a cheaper(or free) II resort week so I have the availability to see completely different resorts. Yes, I would then have to pay to join II as well as my RCI but it would give me different resorts. Are you able to recommend any II resorts that have lower maintenance fees?

You can also get a Sheraton vistana in Orlando
That way you can choose each your if you want to do RCI or interval
In my case I have one that’s a 2/2 lockoff
I put one week into each
I’m going to give it away this year if your interested pm me

What are your maintenance fees per unit?

Under $1300 per year for the 2/2 kickoff
Which becomes two different trades
