Important Update: Association Meeting Changes

The state of Florida recently passed legislation that changes the requirements for the management of condominium associations for Florida-based properties. As a result, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) associations will be changing the format and frequency of its board meetings to align with new regulations.*

For the DVC resorts located in Florida, condominium association board meetings will be held, once per quarter, for a total of four board meetings each year. The first of these individual association quarterly board meetings will be held on September 26, 2024, at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center. Please click the link below to RSVP through September 20, 2024. Times of the individual meetings are included in the link.  Board meetings may only be attended for the Home Resort(s) in which you own. Details subject to change. Please check this page for updates.

Yes, and per Member website: Additionally, for all DVC resort associations, the format of the December 12, 2024, meeting will change from a joint board and Member meeting to a general session and reception for Members hosted by DVC leadership. Board and Member meetings for each resort will be held individually on December 10 and 11, with more information to come soon.

It will be interesting to see what information is shared at the quarterly meetings - which by the same law must include Q&A opportunities - compared to the previous annual meetings.

Oh, and the Cabins at Ft. Wilderness won’t have meetings because they’re held in a trust, not constituted as a condominium association.
