New Purchase... Now what?

We just received the deed on a property we purchased on the wholesale market.

When will we be notified by HGV of the complete transfer and is there a way to use the points in mid-January?

I am hoping - we can reserve on a "last minute RCI" conversation.

The home property is Florida and we purchased for the points as we want to be able to visit other properties.

Your assistance is appreciated.

Congrats on becoming a HGVC member... well, almost a member.
Has the closing agent sent HGVC a copy of the deed, transfer forms and fees?
If you bought at an affiliate w-voluntary membership, you may need to initiate.
About 2 wks after the docs are sent, you can call to ask for a membership #.
With that, you can set up an internet account and start booking stays.

However, access to RCI may take a little longer (maybe a week).

You can book stays up to 1 day B4 check-in, but space may be limited.
If you're flexible about location or unit-size, last minute bookings are possible.
