Does anyone have experience with these. We live in Minnesota and it feels as if Delta basically owns the airport.

Here are some of the highlights SPG Platinums will receive Delta Medallion benefits at the airport and in-flight with priority check-in, priority boarding and a free check bag. An SPG Elite will for the first time earn Starpoints, in addition to SkyMiles from flying Delta. Delta Diamond and then Platinum Medallion members will receive SPG Elite benefits at our hotels. SPG check-in, late check-out and free in-room Internet. Delta Medallion members will also earn SkyMiles in addition to Starpoints when staying at Starwood.

Our Delta partnership is a natural extension of the work we've been doing to stand apart in loyalty. Last year we transformed SPG benefits and for some time now, SPG Moments provide once-in-a-lifetime experiences through partnerships with Live Nation, Cirque du Soleil, Formula One Mercedes team and the U.S. Open Tennis.

It looks like a good promotion. I will sign up although I seldom fly Delta - I stick to American for 95% of my flights. However, it will be nice to receive the elite benefits when flying Delta.
 
I am flying delta tomorrow so I will keep you posted since I have no status with them other than this cross over promotion
 
Checked in today with boarding group 1 YAY!! Under my FF# it said crossover rewards.
This did make me happy since I have no status on delta, I should say had no status. Nice extra perk.
