We've purchased resale SDO and WKV. Usage is for 2020. Once everything is officially transferred, will we be stuck w/ best available for Gold Plus our Prem weeks?

Don't understand your question. Will you please elaborate? With SDO, you can use it or exchange through II, the latter in which Vistana will deposit a blended week for you based on the deeded season. With WKV you can use the week or use SOs for Vistana internal booking.

My question is related to making reservations based on your deeded week. Since I am still waiting to close, I doubt I will be able to reserve Spring Training for SDO even though it’s Platinum.
I forgot that I can use SO for our WKV.
TIA

With SDO, your deeded week has no advantage. The deeded unit number and deeded week determines if you own a 1-52 gold plus or a 1-21ish platinum. If you own a 1-52 gold plus, it doesn't mater what the deeded week is. No gold plus owner has any advantage in reserving a spring break week and in terms of using in II a gold plus is a gold plus SDO regardless whether the deeded week is 1, 10 or 52.

If you own a true platinum which would be determined by the deeded unit number and deeded week then you could only book within the platinum season and you may have a better shot at spring training time but you might get stuck with an early January week depending on what is available when your transfer is complete.

I had a similar situation with my SDO (which was 1-52, if you bought a true play availability may be better). I deposited my first year usage into II. Because they do bulk deposits and everyone gets the same trading power, depositing late doesnt hurt you with II.

Thanks. That’s what figured.

Thanks. Looks like that’s what will happen. I will save for 2021 if needed.
