I will be going to a convention in New Orleans at the Hilton Riverside. What is a nice timeshare that would be convenient to the Hilton?

I enjoyed the Wyndham La Belle Maison . I think you'll have about a mile walk however. What time of the year will you be in New Orleans? It probably wouldn't be horrible other than summer.

I'm going at the end of September. That does look like a nice one. I was thinking of trying for that one or the Quarter House.

I am an owner at Plaza Suite Resort which is across the street from Hilton. I can recommend the timeshare. I will be there for jazzfest. It is a converted firehouse so a bit different(most rooms look out on a atrium and not outdoors).

We stayed at the Quarter House and loved the location. We walked everywhere since we didn't have a car. It wasn't a problem.

Bluegreen Club La Pension is also a good location.

The Hilton Riverside is an excellent facility. I have had the pleasure of staying there for a business convention. However, I was in a position to claim the meeting as a tax deduction which helped diffray the cost. If your convention is for business, you may be better off using your time share points for a vacation. We have had a very good experience exhanging into Wyndham facilities and the Wyndam TS in New Orleans is nice.

I will be staying at the Hilton Riverside in two weeks for a convention held inside the hold, not next door at the convention center. At $199/ night they are pretty expensive.
When I was in New Orleans for a convention at the convention center last summer, I used timeshare and "charged" my employer the expense I incurred for the timeshare for the number of nights of the business part of the week.
While it is a business expense my employer pays, my professional development expenses are capped annually, so that helped to get my money to go a little further.
