Edinburgh was the least favorite part of our trip to Scotland years ago. Crowded like most cities.

We enjoyed our time in the city several years ago and will spend a couple nights there in May as part of our trip to Portugal, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. This may be our last time to Scotland, so am glad this extra tax won’t start until July 2026.
