When you go to login.vistana.com/login as per usual, it pops up a notice telling you that they have upgraded the log in experience and streamlined the website. When you click close, it takes you to a new page where you enter your user name and password. After about a minute of fussing, it dumps you into what looks like the old site.

If you go to marriottvacationclubs.com to the Owner Login and choose Sheraton/Westin, it no longer tells you it is coming but has the same log in but when you go in this way, it forces you to choose a two-factor authentication method between email, phone and authenticator app. Once you do that, it take you to the homepage of marriottvacationclubs.com but has the Vistana menu items across the top. If you click Dashboard, it dumps you into what looks like the same old version similar to using the regular Vistana log in. That is as far as I have gotten, still exploring for any differences which I'm sure others will start noticing as well (if they exist!).

I logged out of both places and then went back in via the Vistana log in page and this time I had to do the two-factor code to get in.

Yes, unfortunately, it's a bit of a mess, but I finally got in.

Interesting; I just logged in and didn't get the pop-up. Had to dig a bit in my profile to find where to enroll my cell and email for 2fa, but after logging out and back in again, the 2fa worked easily. Color me surprised!

The two factor authorization just activated for me yesterday. There were some simple set up steps required where you could choose one, two, or all three different methods of authentication: email, phone, or authenticator app. Once it was set up, the login steps were exactly the same as what the Bonvoy (Marriott Hotels) website and app sometimes require.

I can't get in b/c I'm getting a pop up on multiple devices that my internet browser isn't up to date. It is.

Really so incredibly annoying.

You can close that popup by clicking the small hard to see x in the upper right corner.

I think this new website is a mess and sent them several messages relaying my thoughts about it! I can get in after setting up the 2 factor authentication but then it freezes up and says it is verifying my browser! Grr, so frustrated with Marriott! How about notifications to members BEFORE changing the website!???!!!

So far, I have avoided all of that nonsense - at this point it isn't mandatory, so I would avoid it until they get the glitches worked out.

Made me set up 2FA during the process of reserving on probably the hardest nights to get in (2/13-2/20, 2027 - WKORV). I had gotten in earlier in the day w/o 2FA - so appears to be glitchy.
Reservations were a typical mess (not the 2FA) - made repeated tries (~30) and kept getting kicked out or the site froze at all processing levels. Took 40 minutes to finally make a reservation.
Persistence pays off.

To avoid this:
- log in earlier in the day and set it up
- close the villa finder window & reboot
- close the villa finder window and use a different browser
- Log in from the Marriott home page

I’ve used all of these at different times - you will have to see what works for you.

I don’t think the villa finder was working until about 12:41 am eastern tonight.

Glad you were able to finally make your reservation! I gave up after only 20 minutes... Will have to try for 2/14, or for 2/20 if necessary.

I agree, Denise. I got ours about that time after constant repeated attempts. Not my idea of a good time, but the persistence paid off! I had booked a “back up” reservation for Friday to Friday on Wednesday night and I was done at 12:02 am eastern. I will cancel that one today since I have the Saturday arrival now.

I got in within 1 minute for 2/14 check in. But, during the verification if I could make the reservation , it stated my unit was no longer available. With only 6 units it’s easy to see how quickly they can go.

Like minds... I also got in within 1 minute for 2/14 check-in. Same thing happened to me during the verification. SO, someone else got in before we did!! Let's try for 2/20!

I also got in quickly - to the page with Result ID and a processing your request circle (took a photo), then a 'try again'. Tried again until 9:40pm PT and finally got it. Persistence pays off - I figure they were overwhelmed (again). Getting mid-February is tough - especially with OF villas as some were should as Event Weeks.
