I got an email today about a new promotion on HGVC. Since I am NOT in the market for a new Timeshare company this solicitation was wasted on me. However, it did say that you could get the free 6 night vacation if you upgrade your present membership. I hope this was the right place to post this. This is the link to the promotion for 6 night vacation in a Hilton Hotel plus a midsize rental car.

Yeah... At developer prices.
You'd pay far more to the HGVC T/S than the value of the stay. No thanks.

They have been trying for years to get me to trade-in or "up-grade" my units. It makes no sense. They'll give me back what I paid full-price for 10 years ago so that I can purchase at today's rates. Prices 10 years ago pale in comparasion to what they're charging now.

Last year we added a resale Bay Club grand villa (8,400 points). That beats any kinds of up-grade special hands down.
