Well this is new to me. I have tried to make several books in the last month including some 13 month out ARP at Bonnet Creek. I was successful but on December 25th and 27th, while inventory showed, I got the message "This location is not eligible for the selected date range. Choose a different location or a different date range to proceed."

In reading a post on here about Margaritaville I went to make a vacation and anything other than a studio comes up "This location is not eligible for the selected date range. Choose a different location or a different date range to proceed." There have been a few others where this has started happening. In each instance there is inventory.

To be clear, I mean choosing a room level like a 2br showing only, and it shows availability but when I click a check in date I get the error message and it refuses to select that date. I can keep choosing dates all down the row. I've never seen this and in calling owner care they said that they would put in a ticket to check it and get back with me...over a month ago. Has anyone else had this error???
 
It may be a new error but it's not a new response.

That's what you get when you try to book outside your date range (i.e., more than thirteen months for ARP, more than ten months otherwise). If you get that response when you are trying to book inside your date range, it is another Wyndham IT problem. Call a reservation counselor or owner care, they'll write up a ticket and you'll never hear any more about it.
 
I did see something similar recently. It seemed to be that there was availability for all nights but not in the same room. IOW, there may have been a 2BR Deluxe available one day, then a 2BR Deluxe Accessible the next day, but neither available for both nights. On the calendar, it will show 2BRs available both nights. The single night restriction or prime season 3-, 4-, or 7-night restrictions may come into play making my request ineligible for reserving.

Also, at Bonnet Creek, there is home resort ARP inventory and separate CWA ARP inventory. The system doesn't seem to discriminate between all of these available options when you look at the whole month calendar of availability. But once you try to select dates, it compares full reservation availability with your eligibility to reserve it.
 
Just to offer another possibility here (and this may or may not apply) - when I have performed previous searches within the same log in session, I have seen search results come back confused (or so it appears). In some cases, logging off the Wyndham website, then logging back on (and trying the search again) can sometimes clear up an issue.

I am NOT saying this is the ONLY explanation, but I have seen this occur.
