Online booking opens at midnight Pacific Time. If it is a really desirable reservation, it may be long gone by 6 a.m.

WorldMark reservations may be booked (ONLINE, through the WorldMark website) beginning at midnight 13 months in advance of arrival -- 6 hours before the WorldMark call centers open to book reservations at 13 months.

If you want the ocean front penthouses in August at Seaside it's a midnight reservation having everything ready so you can just push book to tie up the unit. The problem is the WM website glitches.

Big fail. At exactly 1pm 12am PST I clicked on my Jan. dates and all that appeared were studios and 2 and 3 br units. I put us on the Waitlist for a 1br so we'll see what happens. Not sure how all the 1br units disappeared.

It's because at exactly 12 am owners are hitting the book link. You need to have everything loaded so that the only thing left to do is to hit the book button at 12 am. Often times I will take a two bed unit instead of the one bed unit, then wait-list the one bed unit, if I really want that date and location.

Sorry, meant to type 12am PST. I was "locked and loaded" at 12am PST. I'm in MST zone so it was 1am my time.

It's hard to say for sure. In the past we had a decent shot at getting the unit at 12 am but I think Wyndham employees that own WM are able to get the units before the other owners. One of the Wyndham reps slipped up and told us at a presentation that they grab units at Seaside in August to rent. The only way they can be certain to get the units is to get it before the other owners do.

Another issue is the crappy website. The last two reservations I made were a total pain. I was able to make the reservations after logging out of WM then deleting the browsing history and then logging back in. In the time that I was fumbling around trying to reserve a unit most of the inventory was gone.

Sometimes if you see the unit you want you might burn a day and check in Thursday instead of Friday. Some owners burn multiple days to get the days they want.

Yes, WM Kihei. If it's a good chance the waitlist will clear why go to the extra effort of booking 1/19>1/26. Color me a confused WM newbie. You are also making a big assumption that a 1br will be available tonight. It wasn't available last night, only studios and 2/3 br units.

I'm using a chrome browser and when I look at the WM Reservation inventory I can usually see what's available even after 13 months. You could take the two bed unit and cancel it if your wait list comes through. It's about $160 more plus whatever tax to take the two bed unit.

Good idea but the problem is I only have 10K pts availale & those are 2025 pts I'd be borrowing.

If I rent 2K pts from someone how long does that process take? Just heard that the xfer process takes from 1 to 7 days.
I'm in the process of renting 2K pts from someone on wmowners. That 2K and the 10K I can borrow should fix my problem.
