Does anyone have any suggestions for non-fast food restaurants in Ormond Beach, FL for lunch? I am trying to meet up with folks for brunch/lunch this weekend... they're in Jacksonville, I'm on Merritt Island, so Ormond Beach is the halfway point. I'd like somewhere with good food and a place that's not too horribly loud, so we can talk for a while. Waterfront would be a plus, but is not necessary.

Post on the Florida site, maybe? If you have enough time go to www.chowhound.com and go to the Florida board. Search Ormond Beach/Daytona Beach (side by side) and they have alot of posts re places in that area. Linda

Ended up at Aunt Catfish's in Daytona... YUM!!!

Pretty good salad bar, an interesting "Fish Camp Fixin's" bar (corn bread, cheese grits, coleslaw, etc.), very good fresh seafood, great service, and a river view. I'll be going back again!

Laurie,

Just a little north of Ormond Beach on A1A is Flagler Beach - there is a restaurant at the foot of the pier in Flagler Beach - I forget the name but you can't miss it - only one there- great home cooking and waterfront view to boot.
